What is Addiction Therapy

This type of help focuses on changing thoughts, beliefs and behaviors around the addiction, the underlying issues behind an individual's behavior and choices he or she makes.

Overcoming addiction doesn’t just involve detoxification from the drug or alcohol. Detoxing can be the first of many steps that a person takes. However, one of the most useful steps a person can take during this time is commitment to a therapy program.

If your addiction has become your coping mechanism then it is highly likely that your brain is so used to using that it can be very difficult to stop without support.  Discovery 2.0 therapy is focused on managing and changing your emotions at the deepest level, to  change the destructive thoughts that lead to the destructive behavior of using drugs or alcohol.
